We provide Christian based hope and help to those in need.
Open Doors - 65 provides used clothing and shoes for ALL AGES and genders. Household items, such as bedding, dishes, and decor are also available. While not a food pantry, we often have day-old bread products and other food items free for the taking, so if you are short on food funds, it is worth it to take a look.
Free coffee and tea are served in the Welcome Center and other beverages and small snacks are available for a free will donation. In addition, we often have delicious SANDY'S DONUTS for a free treat.
Bibles, magazines, and many books are available at NO COST.
We have a Welcome Center area where visitors can talk, snack, pray, read, or just get out of the heat or cold weather.
What to expect if you visit:
1. You will be welcomed in and if you wish to "shop" for free, we will take your name, address (if you have one) and number in household. You do not need proof of public assistance - we go on trust that you need help, assistance or not.
2. You will be assigned a number. This is your shopping number, as we do assist each shopper in back in order to help you find certain items. While you wait you are able to check out our free section items, have snacks, and talk with our friendly volunteer staff or other visitors.
3. When your turn to shop comes about, you are called back and helped. You get a certain number of items for free, per quarter. We assist you in finding items that will benefit or bless you or your family. We are well organized and you get 10-20 minutes on the shopping floor. We have a bathroom and fitting room as well.
4. You are free to return to our Welcome Center/lounge area after shopping. If you have a need for prayer or have prayer requests, please let our staff know. If you need hope and help or information on community resources, please let us know. We want to be a blessing to you!
